Jamal Igle
Jamal Yaseem Igle has worked his way up the ranks from intern at DC Comics to a successful career as a penciler. Jamal has been editor, art director, and animation storyboard artist for companies such as Sony Animation and Scholastic Inc. Jamal is the co-creator of the comic book series VENTURE, along with writer Jay Faerber, published by Image Comics. Jamal is currently pencilling Supergirl for DC Comics.

Freddie Williams II
In 2005 while attending the San Diego Comic Con, Freddie submitted a portfolio for the DC Talent Search. A few months later he received a call to take over as artist for Seven Soldiers: Mister Miracle #2, 3 and 4, as well as a fill-in artist for Aquaman #39. From there he was selected to be the monthly artist for Robin starting with issue #149. Freddie is currently drawing JSA All-Stars for DC Comics. He enjoyed a long run on Robin and also wrote the book DC's Guide to Digitally Drawing Comics.

Katie Cook
Katie Cook is a comic book artist and illustrator who is best known for her work in the Star Wars universe. She worked on the Clone Wars webcomic for starwars.com and has contributed many craft and "How to Draw Star Wars" tutorials for the site as well. She's worked on licenses ranging from DC Comics, Marvel COmics, Lord of the Rings, Heroes and more for comics and the trading card industry.

Gabriel Hardman
Gabriel's been drawing comics for a long time. In addition to his work as a storyboard artist for major motion pictures such as Spider-Man 3, X2: X-Men United, X-Men: The Last Stand and Superman Returns, he's doing some great work at Marvel on Avengers vs Atlas, backup Agents of Atlas tales in Incredible Hercules and is the artist for the upcoming ongoing Atlas series.

Corinna Sara Bechko
Zoo keeper by day and writer by night, Corinna entered the comics stage in 2009 with the debut of her graphic novel Heathentown by Image along with artist Gabriel Hardman. She might be new to the game, but she's already creating a name for herself.

J.K. Woodward
Born James Kenneth Woodward in Attleborough, MA, J.K. started his art career as a surrealist in the gallery circuit of Los Angeles. His work eventually caught the attention of a German record producer and as a result James spent two years in Frankfurt Germany creating album covers and continuing his work as a surrealist. His life changed drastically when he collected his paintings, along with some prose written by longtime friend M.D. Koffin, and saddle-stitched it together to published his first indie comic. This started a chain of events that led to work at IDW, Marvel Comics, BOOM! Studios and Devil's Due Press. His most recent credits include: Fallen Angel: Reborn, X-Men Origins: Beast, Star Trek: Alien Spotlight and Belladonna.

Brent Schoonover
Minneapolis-based freelancer/illustrator, Brent Schoonover, has worked on a variety of projects in and around the world of comics. Horrorwood, his first creator-owned series, is available through Ape Entertainment. His follow up Astronaut Dad: The Collected Edition will be out in 2010. Besides working with publishers like Silent Devil, Viper Comics and Bluewater Productions, Brent has contributed his art to the popular sketch card medium for Marvel Comics and Lucas Arts.

Bryan J. L. Glass
Bryan J.L. Glass is the Harvey Award winning co-creator/writer of The Mice Templar, the acclaimed Image Comics series, with his frequent creative partner Michael Avon Oeming of POWERS fame. He is also writer of Riftwar, the Marvel Comics adaptation of Raymond E. Feist's fantasy epic, which picks up directly where his work on Magician Apprentice left off last year. Bryan's first work in the comic industry was in the role of photographer, providing photo covers and interiors to such 80s series as Bill Willingham's The Elementals, Matt Wagner's Mage, and Eliot R. Brown's Punisher Armory. Bryan first collaborated with Mike Oeming on Spandex Tights and Ship of Fools throughout the 90s. After a brief absence from the industry, Bryan returned in 2003 with his first Mice Templar short stories, and then again in 2005 with Quixote: A Novel and 86 Voltz: The Dead Girl. He is currently developing several new series in various genres.

Adam Withers and Comfort Love
Comfort Love and Adam Withers are twenty-somethings from Michigan (Mitten-sippi) with Bachelor of Fine Arts degrees in Illustration and Graphic Design. Having cut their teeth on Role Playing illustration for such names as Palladium Books (Rifts) and Green Ronin (Mutants & Masterminds), they are stepping into the medium that has held their hearts and imaginations since they were wee children: Comic Books.

Chad Cicconi
Chad Cicconi is an indy comic artist who has been working steadily on numerous projects since his debut in 2007. He is the artist and co-creator of "Baby Boomers," a webcomic featured at Markosia.com, the primary artist for PKD Media's "Mercury & the Murd," and has also provided art for stories featured in Angry Gnome's "Short Stack" anthologies and the CGS anthology books. Chad is also a sketch card artist, and recently completed a set of sketch cards for the "Urban Legends" and "Shock Stories" card sets published by Monsterwax.com. Chad is a longtime listener of CGS, has artwork featured on the CGS homepage, and is a veteran of CGS' episode 300 celebration and the first CGS Supershow in 2008.

Julian Lytle

Hailing from the nation's capital, Julian's work bridges the traditions of 70s poster artists like Robert McGinnis, Mitchell Hooks, Joseph Caroff, contemporary urban and pop culture with a line culled from classic fashion illustration. His "Guns and Honey" art series is inspired by the intersection of beauty and danger: the woman. When he's not crafting up dangerous women, Julian is making "Ants," a weekly webcomic satirizing pop culture.

Buz Hasson attended the Art Institute of Dallas. Over the course of his career, Buz has worked on “The Living Corpse”, “Flesh Rot: Tales of the Undead” and “The Eyes of Asia”. With “The Living Corpse” in development for a live-action film. Buz has been working at a feverish pace.

Andrew Charipar

Andrew Charipar graduated from the Douglas Anderson School of the Arts in Jacksonville, FL majoring in drawing and painting. He is the Creator, Writer and Illustrator of the Graphic Novel series Tales From The Cornerstone (Volume one and two currently available for print at Lulu.com and for free at Wowio.com but maybe available elsewhere by the time the Super Show happens... you never know... just google it). Andrew is also a contributor to Comic Geek Speak The End (available at www.indyplanet.com), Drum Fish Productions Sentinels Anthology (check it out at www.sentinelsonline.com) and PKD Media Presents, a Anthology Comic that includes Agents of C.O.L.T. and Blacks Danger in Space (pkdmedia.com). Andrew is currently working on the third volume of Tales From The Cornerstone, the second chapter of Agents of C.O.L.T. and Blacks Danger in Space for the PKD Media Anthology as well as a creator owned project with his daughter, Ayla called "My Brother, the Zombie" with story and art by Andrew and Ayla. Andrew is also working with Wayne Cordova and Harold Jennett on a fill-in for their world famous comic M.I.M.E.S. (check it out at www.mimescomic.com, AS IF you had to be told where to find it) and working on a back-up story for Dave Beaty and Lin Workman's Bushi Tales as well as contributed to the Art of Bushi Tales (scheduled to be released in 2010, for more info go to www.bushitales.com). This year, not only will Andrew have a limited edition signed and numbered 2009 sketchbook, he will also have a limited edition signed and numbered 2010 edition as well, again available ONLY at the Super Shows.

Shawn Pryor

Shawn is the creator, writer, editor, and waterboy for PKD Media. He's the writer of the buddy cop comic Mercury & The Murd, which stars Comic Geek Speak's own Adam Murdough, aka "The Murd." He also writes such titles as Exo-1 & The Rock Solid Steelbots, Agents of C.O.L.T., Alpha Simian, M.A.T.T., and Blacks Danger...In Space! Known as "Stan Leeroy" by many of his peers, a name given to him by the CGS crew, Shawn will be joined by a slew of artists at the PKD Media Booth where you'll be able to purchase great comics and cool sketches.

Dave Wachter
Dave is the artist, co-creator and co-writer of the new epic adventure webcomic The Guns of Shadow Valley, which made its debut this summer. He began his career as the artist and co-creator of the critically acclaimed independent comic series Scar Tissue. His work has been featured in various anthologies, including: Fiendish Fables, PKD Media Presents, and Hope: New Orleans. He is the artist on Tell Them Johnny Wadd is Here for Terminal Press, the celebrated adaptation of the notorious John Holmes film. Dave lives in the heart of the great American Midwest with his cat, Rusty.

Danielle Corsetto
Danielle is the brains and boobs behind the hit webcomic "Girls With Slingshots," an ongoing dramedy that updates five times a week and features two girls, a bar, and a talking cactus. She was also the artist/writer on "The New Adventures of Bat Boy" for the Weekly World News. Danielle hails from West Virginia and may be heard singing "Country Roads" loudly at the pub after the show.

Kevin Freeman is the Editor-in-Chief of small press publisher Ape Entertainment, home of such respected titles as The Black Coat, Athena Voltaire, and Super Human Resources. Big Jim is a cartoonist and storyboard artist living in Vancouver, BC, Canada. He is most well known for his work on the Cartoon Network series 'Ed, Edd n' Eddy' but has also dabbled in the comics world, having drawn the cover to PKD Media Presents #1, and designed and illustrated the first installment of fellow forumite, and DCBS superstar Zack Kruse's upcoming webcomic, Mystery Solved! Chris is the man behind the ever-lovable Franklin Richards series of comics for Marvel as well as the writer on the Pet Avengers series. Chris' name can be found as letterer for many Marvel books including Siege, Marvel's Project and Kick Ass. And during what little free time he has left, he creates the long running ongoing web comic Misery Loves Sherman.

Dave Dwonch began his career in comic in 2005 with the four issue miniseries Special Education from NPC Comics. He followed up the superhero spoof with the critically acclaimed all-ages graphic novel Gnome from Super Real Graphics. He has also contributed to Comic Geek Speak: The End as well as books from PKD Media and Angry Gnome Comics. He is currently working on the hilarious webcomic Space-Time Condominium, and the graphic novel "Back in the Day" with artist Daniel Logan. Dave is also the co-host of the popular podcast, The Geek Savants, along with longtime friends Super Ugly, Grant Miller and Brian Roberts. Always the life of the party, Dave is a fan favorite at conventions across the country. His exploits are the stuff of legend. Wind him up and watch him go!

Chris Sotomayor
Chris Sotomayor has the reputation of being one of the fastest color artists in the business, and has been a mainstay at Marvel Comics since 1996. He’s proven himself time and again having worked on their top properties, including Spider-Man, X-Men, Daredevil, Captain America, Hulk, and many others, as well as working on titles for DC, Image and Humanoids. Past breakout works include Supreme Power/Squadron Supreme and Captain Marvel.

Erica Hesse

Erica Angelique Hesse is an artist that loves to draw comics and pin-upgirls. Born and raised in New Jersey, she developed a love for comics at a young age, reading anything from Archie to X-Men comics. She realized growing up, that she wanted to be a comic book artist. Fast forward years later, she's now showcasing her work in the form of pin-up and comic book related art. She is inspired by all things pin-up, comic book, and low brow art. Erica is currently self publishing her own comic, The Key. Recently Erica has art featured in the new Burlesque Poster Design book, sketch cards for Marvel Masterpieces III set, and pinups for several independent comic titles. In the near future Erica will also have more of her art featured in BrandStudio's Eye Candy 2.0 book, and Acid Poptart's upcoming VooDoo Baby art book. Erica loves to collect designer vinyl toys, action figures, statues, comics, poster art, and cool Batgirl illustrations in her spare time. Erica also likes to frequent the nearest coffee shop to rejuvenate her brain. If you happen to see her there, use extreme caution cause she may bite you for that cup of java in your hand.

Zack Kruse
Zack Kruse is very strong. He once lifted one . . . no, TWO Buicks over his head. He also once ate 87 hot dogs! More important than all of that, Zack is a young writer who is responsible for the skeptically minded webcomic Mystery Solved! as well as the superhero comic The Contingent (with artist Zeu) from Mindstorm Comics. Also upcoming from Zack is the graphic novel Two Evils with artist Ben Tiede.

Resolution Comics
Resolution Comics is Brian Carr and Scott Bradley; two guys that used to talk comics at band practice while the singer was outside talking to his girlfrined on the phone. After years of obscurity in the indie rock scene, they have decided to go for fame and fortune in the indie comics scene. After forming Resolution in June 2008, they started work on a couple of personal projects including the graphic novel "The Sound" and the zombie comic "The Layfield Incident" while publishing works by their friends and colleagues in both the anthology series "From Here to There" and miniseries "Pieces" and "Sorrow in Stillwater". Future plans include "something funny" and "something that kids can read".

Dan Capitumini hails from Rhode Island and is a freelance comic artist and illustrator, working on self-published works including Punch* Maniacs!, providing art work for Angry Gnome Comics' "Short Stack" Anthologies, commissions, and sketch cards. A longtime listener of CGS and frequent forum lurker, he enjoys them video games and watching suckas get knocked out.

Jamie Fickes
Jamie is an illustrator, government sponsored super soldier and international man of mystery. He also is the writer and artist of his webcomic: Mumblepuss. His work has been featured on his mom's refrigerator for many years. Check out the web strip, Mumblepuss, a comic about a very surly stuffed bear who pokes fun at Twilight, white ninjas, movies, comics and probably everything else in the world.

William Dean Blankenship Jr. is a self-taught flashing animated GIF from northern West Virginia. A recently elected Pope, William is the creator of and artist for Special Edition, and artist for Slit: The Living Voodoo Doll. He's also worked on titles such as Razor Kid, Warmageddon, Crazy Mary, Abigail and Rox and done illustration work for Red Bar Radio and Distorted View podcasts. When not drawing, William enjoys watersports and is a sucker for other people's pain. He will be attending Super Show this year to promote his forthcoming novella How to Write a Press Release in 10 Easy Steps.

Miguel Jorge
Miguel Jorge is a former editor/author of two Portuguese comic magazines and has done illustration work for many magazines and newspapers (including the Portuguese magazine version of Sesame Street). Miguel has recently illustrated a short comic story written by Keith W. Cunningham and is currently developing "Wesley and the Wishful Lunch Box" written by Shawn Pryor for PKD Media.

Harold C. Jennett III was teased mercilessly for most of his educational years. His escape was drawing, doodling superheroes, cartoon characters, etc. Harold continued his artistic goals through college, after which he got married, found a job in t-shirt graphics and production, and finally (thanks to Ka-Blam.com) self-published his own comic with Wayne Cordova, who continues to mercilessly tease Harold.

Martheus Wade
He has illustrated for Maximum CNG, Bloodstream for Image Comics, Shooting Star Comics, Chaos Campus for Approbation Comics and Andrew Dabb’s Slices just to name a few. Recently, he has worked on such titles as Action Man for IDW, Marvel Comics Masterpiece card series, and illustrated, wrote, and produced a comic book crossover with his character, Jetta, and William Tucci’s, Shi. His work has been seen used for the movie Role Models from Paramount Pictures as well as for the instructional DVD and book, Hi-Fi Digital Color for comics available from IMPACT Publishing. His next works will be seen in Titanium Rain from Archaia Studio Press. He will also be returning to the character that started it all with the release of Jetta: Tales of the Toshigawa – Crucible in June.

Joe Sergi
Joe lives outside of Washington, DC with his wife, Yee, and daughter, Elizabeth. He has published comics, short stories, and articles in the romance, horror, science fiction, and superhero genres. Joe will be debuting his first young adult novel, Sky Girl and The Superheroic Legacy (from iEnovel.com.), at this year's Super Show. In addition to being the resident CGS legal eagle, Joe runs the Cup of Geek website and when not writing, Joe works for an unnamed government agency. Dutchy Digest
Don't be afraid of the Amish looking guys! That's just Steven Hager and Bruce Rosenberger, the "creative team" behind Dutchy Digest, which features the adventures of the Pennsylvania Dutch Detective, Amos Dingledorffer. Since 2004, the team has been able to put out three regular issues of Dutchy Digest, and six Free Comic Book Day issues (what can we say, our artist is as slow as molasses!) With any luck, issue four will debut at the Super Show!

Erik Jones
Erik Jones attended Ringling College of Art and Design in Sarasota, Florida where he majored in illustration. It was here where he developed a passion for... Okay, let's be honest. Erik is a loud and obnoxious jackass who enjoys drinking and drawing, but mostly drinking. You can normally find him in his studio slaving all day and night on a piece that in a strange way resembles your girlfriend or wife, most likely because it is your girlfriend or wife.

Josh Finney
Author, artist, and full-time obsessive-compulsive, Josh has been working as a comics professional since 2004. His first success came with the acclaimed cyberpunk series, UTOPIATES, which was conceived in part with his wife and partner in crime, Kat Rocha. Since then, Josh’s writing and art has graced the pages of BATMAN, CATWOMAN and JETTA. As well, Josh wrote and co-rendered a stand-out story in the 2007 AWESOME ANTHOLOGY, dubbed in the press as, "a virtual who’s who of the best of up-and-coming indie talent."

Kat Rocha
After concluding the life of an adventuring archeologist was just too dangerous, Katapult "Kat" Rocha took up the craft of creating art rather than digging it up. Training for two years at the Watts Atelier of the Arts and then later apprenticing herself to Josh Finney to learn digital painting, she has worked with Josh on comics ever since, collaborating with him on the artwork for UTOPIATES, the AWESOME ANTHOLOGY, a CATWOMAN story for BATMAN and now TITANIUM RAIN. Kat has also produced numerous concept designs for game companies and has had her work featured in Interzone magazine. As well as a having a fondness for Egyptology, Kat collects knives, action figures, and is living proof that Power Girl's boobs aren't unrealistic. Aside from her art career, Kat writes a column for ComicRelated.com called The "F" Word, where she tackles gender issues and offends a lot of people.
